I have been reading and reading. I ...Nice write up. I have been reading and reading. I want very little surprises.

1. I think I will just run Windows XP Proffessional. My windows progams all run great.

2. I wanted to use Mac OSX, but with all the hassles, why bother.

3. I have set aside 5 to 6K for computer upgrades. I think I will just get one instead of two right now. It will be a Mac Pro with 2.66ghz. I will just get the X1900 card for a $100 more than Apple instead of waiting 2 to 3 weeks (299 upgrade or 399 on web). I will install 2 Seagate 750GB drives and 8GB ram

4. Will use with Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc

5. This will be my main system and will use it as the main storage place too.

6. Oh. I am going to bust my two computers by buying the 30" Cinema. Why? I like having two full views up and nice screen to play movies in the kitchen.

7. Later I will get a 2.4ghz imac

LowEndMac says the 2.66 or the 8 core are the way to go with the 3ghz not worth the extra cost.

I have saved this writeup

Thanks,

DougAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
